At 3rd Rail, we consider underrepresented entrepreneurs to be disadvantaged by the current system of investment and business development. These entrepreneurs do not have access to the infrastructure, the networks and connections, and money necessary to cultivate their ideas, establish and grow their businesses.
Fundamentally, the disconnect we experience between who is consuming and who is producing is bias -- explicit and implicit -- at play. At 3rd Rail, we believe in the ideas and untapped potential of these entrepreneurs. And we know that success is inevitable when resources and support are commensurate with need. At 3rd Rail, our minds are open and we are committed to support these entrepreneurs with our time, attention, and money.
